COLOPHON STATEMENT:

“The fool folds his arms

and consumes his own flesh.

Better one handful with rest

than two handfuls with effort

and a pursuit of the wind.

Again, I saw futility under the sun.

There is a person without a companion,

without even a son or a brother,

and though there is no end to all his struggles,

his eyes are still not content with his riches.”

Ecclesiastes 4:5-8 HCSB

Day by day there is a spoken lie which drives onward the lurching, belching machine.

“Do this for me, and be richly rewarded”

Through sacrifice of flesh and blood, sweat and tears, hours and eons, man pursues his riches, pursues his rest. A spirit crying out in the wilderness, longing for peace, searching but never finding it to last. Wealth beyond measure and wanting soul. Day and night illuminated by permissible imposter–this for now my sun, this for now my deliverance. Companionship of a parasocial nature; voices emanating from nowhere in the dark. A peace below understanding, a joy which always ends.
